Responsibilities
Lead the planning and management of special projects and initiatives, developing essential planning artifacts such as statements of work, charters, schedules, and Gantt charts.
Facilitate integrated project teams through meticulous meeting preparation, scheduling, execution, and follow-up.
Construct and document frameworks for simplifying complex issues into actionable strategies to aid decision-making across diverse work functions, including strategy formulation and technical, operational, and business process initiatives.
Craft detailed business case analyses that effectively quantify costs, benefits, and risks associated with proposed actions.
Oversee the formulation of goals and objectives for meetings and workshops, plan and coordinate execution, and ensure that outcomes align with the strategic objectives of OUSD(R&E).
Document and publish results, capturing critical actions, decisions, and agreements.
Drive the development, implementation, and refinement of administrative and operational processes to enhance the effectiveness and productivity of the office.
Implement performance metrics and tracking mechanisms to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify compliance requirements, develop roadmaps for necessary process and system modifications, and integrate these changes to optimize administrative and operational processes efficiently.
Manage multiple, concurrent projects and tasks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and timely work products.
Assess and prioritize urgent assignments to determine optimal courses of action and manage to timely conclusions.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Technical Discipline, or related field from an accredited college or university and at least ten (10) years of relevant experience
Advanced program management education or certification preferred
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in project management, operational management, strategy development, and planning within a DoD staff environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across functional disciplines and at senior levels of government
Top Secret clearance required; ability to obtain and maintain SCI
US Citizenship
Preferred
In lieu of a formal degree, a minimum of four (4) years of specialized experience, including military experience, may be substituted
