Responsibilities
Sales Leadership: Drive the growth and adoption of icotec Medical’s spinal infection product line by identifying new opportunities and maintaining strong relationships with orthopedic/neurosurgeons, infectious disease specialists, and hospital decision-makers.
Market Expertise: Be a subject matter expert on spinal infection treatments, including product knowledge, indications, and surgical techniques.
Customer Engagement: Deliver product demonstrations and provide ongoing education to healthcare providers on the use of icotec products in spinal infection cases.
Reimbursement Knowledge: Utilize an understanding of reimbursement processes, including payer policies, coding, and billing, to guide hospitals and physicians in securing reimbursement for spinal infection treatments.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets, manage sales pipelines, and track performance against goals.
Training and Support: Provide training to sales teams, independent sales partners, and customers on spinal infection treatment technologies and reimbursement pathways.
Market Intelligence: Continuously assess market trends, competitor offerings, and reimbursement landscape to identify new opportunities and challenges.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales leadership, marketing, clinical, and regulatory teams to align product positioning, customer messaging, and market access strategies.
The role will require weekly travel to cover the designated territory.

Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Healthcare, or Life Sciences).
5+ years of experience in medical device sales, with at least 3 years in spinal implants sales.
In-depth understanding of spinal implants, surgical procedures, and the medical device sales process.
Knowledge of reimbursement processes, including coding, billing, and payer policies for spinal infection treatments.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing strategic relationships with key healthcare professionals.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to drive results in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Ability to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and a team player.
Preferred
Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, or similar).
Previous experience in a management or leadership role in the spinal medical device industry.
Experience in launching new spinal implant products and managing product life cycles.
Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement tools, databases, and payer communication platforms.
