Responsibilities

Development of high-quality Database Solutions

Develop, implement, and optimize Stored Procedures

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements

Develop procedures and scripts for data migration

Utilize advanced querying techniques with data warehouse and cubes

Attend meetings to elicit information needs and ensure appropriate interpretations

Conduct audits, quality reviews, and ad-hoc reporting

Develop processes and reports for end-user control

Manage file transfers between systems

Review error reports for data warehouse loads and troubleshoot issues

Analyze systems and suggest changes for enhancing reporting

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Required

BA/BS degree in Information Systems, Programming or equivalent

1-2+ years of SQL development experience

Use of SQL, ETL Tools, Stored Procedures, APIs, Jason, XML, X12, FHIR, .NET, Proficiency with MS applications

Effective presentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to participate in meetings with all levels of management within the organization

Detail oriented, excellent follow-up

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Must be service-oriented, quick learner, and team player

Appreciation of cultural diversity

Preferred

Healthcare experience in Medicaid/Medicare, HEDIS, Risk Score, Encounters, etc.
