Responsibilities
Providing DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for the multiple mainframe DB2 Databases
Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth
Helping to migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases
Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met

Required
Provide DB2 technical support (administration, performance, design, and maintenance) for multiple mainframe DB2 Databases.
Ensure best practices in database planning, design, configuration, performance and capacity planning and growth.
Additional knowledge in relational databases is highly recommended.
Help migrate mainframe data to newer relational databases.
Work with the DBA ITM1 to ensure that team goals and metrics are met.
