Responsibilities

Write complex SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and validate data based on business rules

Interpret and analyze data using SQL from various source systems to support data integration and reporting needs

Validate data sources, extraction, transformation logic, and upload of data into target tables (ETL pipelines)

Design, develop, and implement comprehensive data quality tests for new product development initiatives and database changes

Collaborate with other teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve defects

Perform exploratory, functional, and regression testing of web applications

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience accepted

Coding experience in a high-level programming language (Preferred) : Java/Objective-C/C#/ C/C++/ Python (C# preferred)

4-7 years relevant work experience (Preferred)

Strong understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices

3+ years of experience testing ETL pipelines (Manual and Automation)

3+ years of strong expertise in writing SQL queries to retrieve and validate data based on the business rules

2+ years of experience in cloud ETL tools (Azure data factory, AWS glue) with

Experience working with data warehouse tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift etc.)

Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins/GitHub

2+ years in an Agile development environment

4+ years of experience in software testing (feature analysis/test planning/ test case authoring, black box/grey box test execution, defect reporting)

Preferred

Experience in health IT (preferred)

Experience with performance and load testing (preferred)
