Responsibilities

Work with the business unit leader to plan and execute on business strategy

Collaborate with senior leadership to transform the business unit’s engineering team to an agile DevOps and cloud-oriented team

Lead and facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration across groups within the business unit’s organization

Implement standards and procedures to ensure quality standards are met and maintained

Understand and collaborate on the complete product lifecycle from concept through execution

Advise ideas to improve sprints and efficiency

Build, develop, and manage an engineering team capable of carrying out initiatives

Required

Minimum Education – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

12+ years of engineering experience with 4+ years of management experience

Previous working experience in software design and development of customer-oriented products

Must be knowledgeable about industry trends, best practices, and change management

Planning, communication, organization, and people motivation skills

Experience evaluating, recruiting, and developing engineering talent

May manage and optimize a blend of onshore and offshore engineering talent

SaaS in healthcare space

Agile/scrum experience with focus on experimenting, inspecting, and adapting

ASP.NET/C#/EF/SQL/JavaScript, React, Power BI

Azure PaaS (Web Apps, Functions), Docker, Azure AD, Terraform

Preferred

Familiarity with medical billing a plus

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and orchestration tools a plus
