Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of digital marketing specialists, including experts in paid advertising, SEO, content, email, social media, and content marketing.
Oversee team efforts in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing strategies across channels, providing guidance and empowering each team member to contribute to Vacasa’s growth goals.
Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture, instilling accountability, innovation, and a focus on results.
Work closely with senior leadership to align the digital marketing team's initiatives with broader business objectives, presenting regular performance updates and strategic insights.
Develop and activate a comprehensive digital marketing strategy focused on revenue growth, engagement, and customer acquisition.
Guide the digital marketing team in shaping messaging strategies and positioning that resonate with Vacasa’s target audiences across all digital channels.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Operations) to improve guest and homeowner digital experiences, supporting higher engagement and conversion rates.
Champion data-driven marketing, leveraging analytics and performance insights to inform strategies across the team and business, ensuring a continuous cycle of optimization and growth.
Oversee the digital marketing budget, collaborating with stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and identify opportunities for the highest return on investment across campaigns.
Utilize analytics data and A/B testing to measure channel performance and drive data-driven improvements, refining strategies as needed to optimize spend and results.
SEO & Content: Support the SEO team in managing Vacasa’s multiple domains, ensuring technical and content optimization for high search visibility and alignment with Google’s algorithm updates.
Paid Media & Demand Generation: Lead and support the paid media team in developing multi-channel paid search strategies (PPC, display, video) and ongoing campaign optimization.
Email & Customer Engagement: Direct the team responsible for executing guest and owner communications across email and SMS, overseeing strategies for automation and content consistency.
Social Media: Oversee the social media strategy, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and alignment with overall marketing goals, while providing insights to drive growth and engagement.

Required
15+ years of experience in e-commerce and digital marketing, preferably in the travel, vacation rental, or hospitality industry.
7+ years of experience leading a marketing team.
Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth through e-commerce channels.
Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, website management, email marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
Experience with marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing tools.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
Ability to think strategically while executing on detailed plans to meet business objectives.
