Responsibilities
Ensure that patch validation activities comply with established security policies, standards, and procedures.
Analyze patches to identify security vulnerabilities or issues introduced and collaborate with the IT Ops team for remediation.
Support SOX compliance team during audits by providing documentation and assistance.
Lead monthly server and workstation patching efforts.
Improve processes with automation and workflow optimization.
Focus on ticket tracking, trends, and remediation of repetitive issues.

Required
High School Diploma or GED
2-4 years of technical experience managing a Microsoft-based infrastructure production environment
Working technical knowledge of the Microsoft computing stack including MS OS, Hypervisor, RDS, SQL Server, Active Directory, O365
Experience in compute capacity planning, server environment upgrades, patching, and software license management
Multi-year experience in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS
Functional knowledge of Network, SD WAN, Infrastructure Monitoring
Practical understanding of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance obligations
Solid comprehension of server and workstation patching best practices
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
ITIL v3 or 4 certification
