Responsibilities

Develop broad and comprehensive business & marketing plans, assess market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.

Conduct broad and comprehensive competitive analysis for specific products or product lines in Advanced Packaging.

Apply broad and comprehensive knowledge to establish pricing strategies, build and protect a leadership position in market share, enhance profit margins, and develop marketing tools for successful product introductions.

Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to develop new products, enhance existing products, and communicate critical market needs and time requirements.

Manage Field support to ensure synergistic account approaches and optimization of all opportunities for account partnership and penetration.

Required

MS or PhD in a relevant field

Bachelor's Degree in Education

10 - 15 years of experience in back-end packaging or front-end fab process

Technical knowledge in the physics and operation principles of semiconductor equipment related to exposure, metrology, and inspection

In-depth understanding of own discipline within Advanced Packaging

Experience in PDK design is a plus

Fluency in Japanese is a plus

Experience in developing business & marketing plans, competitive analysis, pricing strategies, and product positioning

Experience in collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales teams

Experience in problem-solving complex technical, operational, and organizational issues

Experience in influencing others internally and externally, including senior management

Knowledge of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with ethical standards

Preferred

Experience in collaborative teamwork in a cross-functional matrix environment

Experience in customer communication, product messaging, value differentiation, use case development, and competitive scorecards

Experience in supporting and funding projects, products, services, and technologies

Experience in developing policies and plans guided by business unit objectives
