Sr National Account Manager - Grainger

Responsibilities
Manage and grow relationships with national MRO clients, including Grainger and McMaster Carr.
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the Industrial industry.
Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings with client needs and industry trends.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to capture additional market share.
Stay on top of industry trends and competitive activities to inform and adapt sales strategies.
Provide insights to enhance product positioning and improve sales tactics.
Prepare sales reports and forecasts to monitor progress and identify growth areas.
Negotiate and manage contracts with national accounts, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Oversee the renewal process and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Work closely with marketing, product development, customer service, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and timely delivery of client orders.
Contribute to ongoing projects and take on new responsibilities as the business evolves.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably working with Grainger and McMaster Carr and the Industrial industry.
Proven track record of managing national accounts and driving sales growth.
Strong understanding of the Industrial industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
