Responsibilities

Provide design and implementation expertise to a cross-functional software development team.
Design and develop software applications from business requirements in collaboration with other team members.
Support testing and remediate defects.
May mentor entry and mid-level developers.
Design software solutions per systems requirements.
Lead the development of software solutions that will meet or exceed business requirements; the development effort includes designing and implementing modules to the system specifications, conducting unit testing, troubleshooting issues, and producing detailed proposals to resolve issues.
Work closely with other engineers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions.
Apply engineering principles to software development, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Evaluate new coding techniques, tools, modules, and implementation as appropriate.
Lead and mentor entry and mid-level developers.
Consult on requirements elicitation and definition.
Code reviews, unit test, and integrate coded modules.
Assist other developers in resolving issues by providing guidance and training.
Support testing and remediate defects.
Investigate new solutions, tools, products, and techniques to incorporate into coding standards.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.
Ability to perform all job duties in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company confidentiality policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's degree in related field.
5-7 years of related experience required.
Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5 to 7 year experience conducting and/or supporting IT projects.
4+ years of development experience using .NET technologies.
Experience with mobile application (Android/iOS) development.
Proficient in coding using C#, Python, SQL, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript.
Experience with MS Visual Studio, Android Studio.
Experience with HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, JSON, Angular, and JQuery.
Familiarity with 508 compliances.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) are required.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking.
Ability to perform all job duties in compliance with HIPAA guidelines and company confidentiality policies.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust - Moderate Risk security clearance.
United States Citizenship.
Locale –Pittsburg, PA or Morgantown, WV.

Preferred

Knowledge of Confluence and JIRA.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development.
