Responsibilities

Ensures successful, end-to-end delivery of sustainability digital programs and multi-project dependencies through ongoing client engagement, partnering with technical teams internal and external to the initiative, and coordination of all required activities and milestones. Involved in projects prioritization and initiation, responsible for definition of and compliance with project management methodologies, performing regular tracking and reporting on progress, and accountable for initiative results verification.
Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required

This role requires significant experience in the Digital Technology & Program Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge or experience.
Candidate requires deep understanding of GE Vernova businesses, functions, processes, and platform/data infrastructure.
Ability to manage $2M+ program budgets and execution and lead cross-business DT alignments for multiple projects.
Minimum some experience in leading programs related to sustainability initiatives.
Proven experience in delivering large, cross-functional transformation programs.
Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Established project management skills.
Clear understanding of sustainability principles and GE Vernova sustainability framework.
Has the ability to analyze cross-functional/business impact of process, data, and technology options and manage key dependencies of related programs.
Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the product teams.
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
Ability to visualize and lead product teams on managing interdependencies across sustainability programs for optimal outcomes (e.g. scope 1-2-3, product lifecycle, sourcing, CSRD).
Ability to communicate both with functional leadership teams and technical product teams on key considerations, planning and risk mitigations, and execution optimization.
Able to verbalize what is behind decisions and downstream implications.
