Responsibilities

Support the newly developed corporate policy management program

Build relationships and work cross-functionally with policy stakeholders across the company to help facilitate policy updates and approvals

Serve as the policy SME for the organization - assist with developing policies, researching policy best practices, reviewing policies and offering suggestions/ways to improve policies

Own Smartsheet’s data retention schedule and policy. Work with relevant stakeholders to complete the schedule, update schedule and policy based on best practice research

Administer the policy portal within Smartsheet

Assist with other ongoing projects on the broader risk team

Required

5+ years working in a related function (policy management, program management, and/or business process internal/external audit) preferably within the Tech industry

Experience with GRC tools (e.g. Archer, ServiceNow GRC, RiskConnect, Auditboard, Onspring, etc.)

Proven experience collaborating with cross functional teams within HR, legal, and/or compliance

Proven experience working with and presenting to executive level leadership

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset

Strong interpersonal relationship skills

Effective judgment, decision making, and critical thinking skills

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred, but not required

Policy stakeholder engagement experience preferred, but not required
