Responsibilities
Manage and monitor environment performance and proactively identify optimization opportunities.
Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and manage Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings, including but not limited to virtual machines, storage accounts (blob containers, file shares), virtual networks, Web Apps, Logic Apps Functions Apps, and related services.
Continuously pursue automations, standardization, and efficiency opportunities in the server and service infrastructure.
Collaborate with security teams to establish, implement, and maintain security measures and compliance controls within Azure environments to meet organizational and regulatory requirements (e.g., Entra ID, Security Center, Key Vault and Windows Updates) to ensure secure and reliable cloud environments.
Manage, monitor, and maintain the Keyfactor Cert Manager platform, including automating the certificate deployment and renewal processes, integrating certificates with applications, and responding to certificate-related incidents.
Contribute to project documentation and identify gaps in processes, procedures, workflows, or as-built documentation that can be developed or enhanced.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of Windows Systems Engineering/ Administration experience in mid to large enterprise environments.
5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience in an Azure IaaS environment.
Proven experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) concepts, including certificate lifecycle management, root/intermediate certificates, and trust hierarchies.
Experience with certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, audits/compliance, and troubleshooting.
Experience in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.
In-depth knowledge of Azure security best practices and compliance requirements.
Ability to proactively spot gaps/needs and make suggestions for improvement.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and vendors, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Hands-on experience with Keyfactor Cert Manager for certificate discovery, automation, and policy management.
Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar.
Experience with Azure PaaS environment.
