Responsibilities

Gathering and documenting requirements
Analyzing business processes
Recommending improvements
Supporting the transition to modern solutions such as SaaS
COTS implementations
Mainframe data migration
Data Warehouse development
Conducting requirements elicitation
Preparing project documentation
Facilitating root cause analysis
Supporting user acceptance testing and implementation activities

Required

8+ years of business analysis experience on software development projects, including preparation of project documentation.
Proficiency in requirements elicitation, client management, and technical documentation, including traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling.
Strong skills in facilitating interactive sessions with business and cross-functional teams.
Expertise in analyzing production support issues to identify root causes and document necessary resolutions.
Proficiency in defining functional design and system specifications and delivering completed packages.
Proven ability to lead user acceptance testing, training, and implementation activities.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with mainframe environments, SQL, Salesforce, Remedyforce, Core Java/J2EE, and relational databases.
Experience with process improvement strategies and methodologies.
Proven ability to lead change initiatives and design efficient processes.
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry or compliance/enforcement-related projects.
