Responsibilities

Prospect and recruit customers for demand response and energy cost management solutions
Develop customer market segmentation, targeting strategies, and sales planning in accordance with objectives of the sales team.
Analyze customer energy and facility data to understand a company's demand and energy-related needs and propose solutions;
Execute sales process and engage power base at target customers
Propose solutions and negotiate / close contracts for these customers;
Use Enel X CRM systems for pipeline management and sales progress reporting;
Deliver weekly, quarterly, and annual sales metrics that exceed expectations for the role.

Required

Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of outside sales and/or account management experience
5+ years of B2B sales and/or account management experience
Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and consistently meet deadlines
A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
Lead generation expertise, as well as the ability to quickly identify and qualify sales opportunities to build and maintain a pipeline for new business
Experience closing sales for energy sourcing solutions, energy hardware, energy software, or energy management services in the commercial, industrial, or institutional markets
Ability to illustrate ROI to high level decision makers, as well as interacting with purchasing, operations, and other utility representatives
Ability to develop strong customer relationships
Strong client-facing and internal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with people from different disciplines
Superior organizational skills and detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality
Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
Highly developed business acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Up to 50% of domestic travel
