Responsibilities
Accountable for operational, technical, and strategic oversight of critical infrastructure and maintenance operations.
Oversight of electrical, mechanical, life safety, and critical back-up systems in various facilities.
Interact with internal and external support teams and contractors.
Maintain operational continuity and ensure integrity and reliability of critical functions.
Focus on KPI goals, strategic operations management, and vendor relationship management.
Write and train technical documentation and processes.
Manage processes and procedures for critical facilities to maintain 100% uptime.
Evaluate engineering design and operational performance of critical facilities systems and equipment.
Participate in planning activities, track work progress, and provide input to financial plans.
Perform site inspections, document deficiencies, and maintain accurate asset accounting.

Required
4-7 years Experience in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of the two.
4-7 years Experience in data center facilities operations, working with equipment mentioned above, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
4-7 years Experience managing vendor work and quality control.
Bachelor’s degree Engineering, facilities, or related discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
