Responsibilities

Help build the monitoring platform into other platform pipelines (metrics and log collection)

Build pipelines with CI/CD orchestration using GitLab CI, ansible, etc.

Transition from InfluxDB to VictoriaMetrics

Aligned bare-metal monitoring on several platforms (Redfish)

Resolve WebScale metrics pipeline (Kafka/Pulsar)

Experience calling API to automate the import onto Kubernetes

Instrument all monitoring tools - i.e. Filebeat, Prometheus, tracing

Replace platform script-based monitoring with alertmanager (deliver webhooks to Icinga)

Provide, rationalize, and use Aspen Mesh metrics to ensure control plane visibility, integrate SPK metrics

Build aligned OpenShift and OpenStack platform monitoring in lab (i.e. Prometheus on OpenStack).
