Responsibilities
Develops and executes a comprehensive commercial payer reimbursement strategy that aligns with BlueWind’s business objectives.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key payer stakeholders, health system administrators, and reimbursement decision-makers to promote BlueWind’s solutions and secure favorable coverage policies.
Works closely with all internal customers to develop value propositions, messaging and payer related communication tools and initiatives.
Stays informed about evolving payer landscape trends, regulatory changes, and healthcare policies that may impact reimbursement, and adjust strategies.
Develops and oversees implementation of key success metrics to regularly access performance and recommend strategic adjustments.
Acts as a subject matter expert for the field sales team, providing regular training, feedback and availability for ad hoc questions or meetings related to private payer and MAC.
Establishes and maintains an in-depth understanding of private payer policies and local MACs systems, raises any challenges and presents solutions to reduce barriers to success.
Aligns with other cross-functional operations (Sales, Finance) to support a combined market access strategy for private payer and MACs.
Tracks trends and events impacting the market access landscape, particularly in private payor and local MACs.
Influences various functional areas and motivates groups to action without direct line management responsibility.
Maintains strict compliance policies that BlueWind has developed.
Actively participates at customer and industry meetings.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
At least 10 years of experience in market access or reimbursement within med device
A minimum of 7 years of experience working in the private payer and MAC channels
Demonstrated success translating strategies into measurable programs that have high ROI
Demonstrated ability to build business relationships with internal and external customers through consultative methods
Demonstrated success in developing market access strategies and leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex sales processes
Deep understanding of the US private payer and Medicare environment and how decisions are made within those channels
Expected to travel up to 25%
Employees in this role may be expected to meet healthcare customers in person at their facilities or healthcare systems, therefore, this will require completion of credentialing requirements that meet the access requirements of each healthcare facility or system.
