Responsibilities

Oversee planning and inventory management for AmazonGo business.

Drive analysis and optimization of inventory management systems and processes.

Ensure world-class inventory availability and inventory health.

Lead initiatives to improve sales, customer experience, and operational performance.

Collaborate with Category Managers, Tech teams, Product Management, and other Amazon Business units to enhance customers' in-store experience.

Required

5+ years of with Excel experience

Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience

Experience working with complex data sets

Experience communicating results to senior leadership

5+ years of supply chain, inventory management or project management experience

Superior analytical skills, with demonstrated ability to dive in and quickly understand root cause and identify scalable solutions

Excellent business judgment, strong written and oral communication skills, and a practical, common sense approach to getting things done

Advanced Excel skills

Familiarity with the principles of statistical inventory control

Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves

Ability to thrive in a high energy environment where tactical and strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel

Preferred

Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques

Knowledge of the principles of statistical inventory control

Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma

MBA with a quantitative focus, or advanced degrees in Operations Management, Mathematics/Engineering

Strong numerical and analytical aptitude, and high proficiency creating and managing advanced models

Strong proficiency in analytical tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL and statistical software
