Responsibilities

Understand customers' business objectives and needs

Develop and review technical user documentation

Configure and deploy SampleManager LIMS solutions

Work with customers in various markets

Deliver new project implementations, add-on or upgrade current deployments, and provide training services on customer specific configurations and customizations

Required

Business Analysis experience

Excellent technical writing skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Task duration and resource estimations

Solution identification and proposal

Functional and design specification

System and Instrument integration

Consulting and/or configuration of Thermo Scientific Sample Manager and Integration Manager

High school diploma required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or information technology related field

7+ years of experience with Informatics solutions such as LIMS (Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS Software preferred)

Up to 50% travel requirements

Self-motivated with an ability to learn new skills independently

Experience with working in a laboratory, with laboratory instrument software and/or Chromatography Software (Chromeleon Preferred)

Preferred

Experience in programming design and implementation with .net development such as C# is desired

Experience in requirements gathering and design specification writing is desired

Experience in the service delivery business is desired
