Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage comprehensive compensation programs, including base salary, incentives, stock options, and equity-based compensation.
Ensure compensation and benefits strategies align with company business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and administer equity-based compensation plans, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and other long-term incentive programs.
Manage the granting, vesting, and exercising of stock options and other equity awards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and reporting requirements related to equity compensation.
Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices and benefit programs.
Provide insights and recommendations based on market data and trends.
Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness programs.
Manage relationships with benefits vendors and brokers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Lead all compensation planning processes, including annual and quarterly salary reviews, bonus plans, and equity award allocations.
Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting of compensation expenses.
Develop and maintain compensation and benefit policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting compensation and benefits practices and adjust programs accordingly.
Communicate compensation programs and policies to employees, ensuring understanding and transparency.
Provide guidance and support to managers on compensation-related matters.
Prepare and present regular reports on compensation metrics, equity awards, and program effectiveness to senior leadership.
Utilize compensation data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Adheres to Code of Conduct as outlined in the Baylor Genetics Compliance Program
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of compensation and benefits management experience with in-depth knowledge of compensation and benefit principles, practices, and regulatory requirements.
Compensation administration experience with a public company is required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in compensation and benefits analysis tools and the ability to present complex data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in compensation software systems.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Alignment with the values of Baylor Genetics.
Preferred
Master’s degree or CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred
