Responsibilities

Lead the tax function with a focus on federal and multistate corporate and partnership income tax compliance, sales/use, and personal property tax compliance

Serve as the primary tax advisor on critical business decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams (accounting, finance, treasury, legal)

Develop tax strategies that minimize tax liability in alignment with company goals and compliance requirements

Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns, including the management of quarterly estimated payments and annual tax provisions

Provide guidance on tax policies, SOX compliance, and internal controls

Manage tax audits to ensure favorable outcomes and minimal financial exposure

Identify, analyze, and execute tax planning opportunities to optimize the company's tax position
