Responsibilities
Performing secure design reviews and threat modeling of products and services, including consumer data platforms.
Enabling identification and mitigation of security risks and vulnerabilities early in the SDLC.
Developing and implementing security best practices and standards for engineering teams, providing guidance and training on secure coding and testing techniques.
Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other members of the GICS team to design and develop secure features and functionalities.
Researching and evaluating new security technologies and tools, staying up to date with the latest security trends and threats.
Developing and maintaining security documentation, policies, and procedures.
Supporting security incident investigation and response.

Required
Ability to work a hybrid model (3 days onsite) out of our Bellevue office.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on web, mobile, and/or backend service security.
Experience in using security tools and frameworks, such as OWASP, NIST, SANS, etc.
Experience with data security regulations and compliance, such as GDPR, CCPA.
Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and threats, such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc., and how to prevent and mitigate them.
Experience in developing and implementing security policies and procedures, such as secure SDLC, threat modeling, risk management, etc.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and intellectual curiosity, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude.
Preferred
Certifications such as CISSP, CRTSA, GDSA are a plus.
