Responsibilities

Optimizing plant processes to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve quality.
Improving safety and environmental performance of the plant by proactively addressing potential issues.
Maintaining relationships with suppliers and strategic partners to ensure all terms of agreements are met.
Maintaining production reporting to accurately reflect actual plant production.
Supporting the Operations Manager in oversight of Operations organization.

Required

Possess a minimum of B.S. degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Materials Science Engineering.
Have at least 5 - 10 years of experience in related process industry.
Have experience interacting with others from other departments/businesses in a positive manner. Continuous improvement experience is a plus.
Good at communicating, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Results-oriented with initiative. Leadership skills are desired for increasing responsibilities.
Skilled negotiator.
