Responsibilities
Independently lead new product development and other projects of all complexity levels
Balance the elements of time, cost, quality, scope, risk, and resources
Identify, monitor, and respond to project risk
Manage scope changes and ensure complete supporting analysis
Participate in post-launch audit output evaluations to recommend advancements for continuous improvement of project execution practices
Ensure project outputs are consistently high-quality deliverables, on time, and within budget to all business objectives
Communicate project expectations to project team members, upper management, and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion
Identify, negotiate, and support the resolution to issues within project teams and between various functions
Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
Partner with appropriate functional leaders to manage resources for projects, including requesting and releasing
Look after the interests of the project team
Support assignments outside of new product development as required
Manage and analyze project and portfolio data
Facilitate business process development and training

Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. MBA also preferred.
7+ years of experience in project management and leadership roles
PMP Certification helpful.
Experience leading projects and programs with high complexity and high levels of capital spend
Strong focus and proven ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments
Demonstrated familiarity with basic manufacturing processes and production planning
Logical and creative problem-solving and analytical skills
Possesses basic business financial knowledge
Proficient in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and Project Online (or similar PPM tool)
Possesses influencing skills (leads by example, clearly articulates business cases and interpretation of cause-effect impact)
Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships
Highly effective organization and planning skills
Ability to scope and size work efforts effectively
Ability to support the needs of and interact appropriately with cross-functional personnel through executive leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
Preferred
PMP Certification
Consumer products industry experience ideal but not required.
