Responsibilities

Review Supply Agreements and extract obligations agreed to by Sungrow, the Customer, and relevant parties to develop a project deliverables list.
Manage these obligations by working with customer, Sungrow team members (Account Manager, Application Engineer, Product Management, Order Entry, Logistics, Service, and relevant external parties) to ensure successful and timely execution of these obligations.
Manage customer relationships, manage resources to resolve issues, and negotiate resolutions to issues causing delays in delivery of products and completion of contract obligations.
Inform sales and management of project status; and judiciously escalate issues for management assistance if necessary.
Work collaboratively with internal and external resources across disciplines and organizational lines to define project priorities and work plans.
Meet objectives for schedule milestones, estimate resources, and coordinate commissioning resources to provide effective early-stage project development support.
Ensure projects are efficiently, effectively, and safely executed in accordance with department procedures and policies.
Manage definition of planned work, ensure validation of completed work, approve contractor payment requests.
Verify procedures, equipment, and resource allocations to manage conflicts and resolve issues as needed.
Lead project meetings with customer and internal resources during manufacturing, shipping, installation, and commissioning. Maintain risk tracker and contingency plans for the projects.
Oversee commissioning activities and ensure they meet corporate objectives for scheduling and resource allocation.
Determine site specific requirements including labor, local AHJ requirements, safety requirements, utility interconnection, and permit costs.
Work with Product Management, Sales Management and Application Engineers to generate the field information required for skid integration in the field.
Review drawings and develop and manage execution plans with third parties and the Sungrow field service group.
Manage customer communication on a routine basis to ensure customer satisfaction.
Assist with the development and negotiation of sub-contractor, consultant and engineering agreements including safety plans, schedules, and scope-of-work necessary to fulfill project requirements.
Manage all aspects of the project schedule from project kickoff to project close-out to project post-mortem meeting.
Monitor processes, materials, safety, job quality, to detect or assess problems and provide early responses.
Coordinate inspections and interconnections with the customer.
Ensure projects are completed within scheduled timeframes and budget.
Coordinate project commissioning and handoff to systems support and/or O&M team.
Coordinate customer training and acceptance.
Conduct site visits, experimental investigations and analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
Support escalation activities that require high level of coordination and an expedited response to the customer, such us retrofit projects, site upgrades, failure analyses, repairs, etc.
Keep statistics and information to feed back to the service organization to provide a higher level of customer service.

Required

Four-year engineering, technical, or related degree; or equivalent relevant technical experience
Good problem solving and strong analytical skills
Self-starter, good leadership skills, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Ability to communicate at multiple levels in the organization
System and product level mindset
Organized, detailed-oriented, and strong initiative to complete projects
Open and transparent communication style, willing to give and receive assistance

Preferred

Project management professional certification will be helpful, but not required
