Responsibilities
Manage the activities related to planning, forecasting, reporting, new business analysis, and sales pipeline tracking utilizing CEC and other tools. This shall include regular Distributor visits to continue developing key trusted relationships within the Distributor organization and key end-user customers.
Assist in strategic planning with our Distribution to ensure basic data and assumptions surrounding Plan vs. Actual is reported according.
Provides technical training to sales representatives, distributors, or their clients. Train Distributor Sales Representatives on customer relationship techniques and the closing of additional business. This also includes advising them of new or revised information on products such as availability, pricing, and other commercial topics.
Responsible for proper management of addition discount requests and authorization. Also includes the development of the BNB documents for swift presentation and approval. These both shall be key to securing proper margin expectations for each opportunity.
Design and develop product presentations and other sales materials with Distributor Sales Managers for customers.
Maintain competitive product and pricing knowledge. Prepares composite reports from individual insight of sales Distribution Sales Representatives.
Maintains harmony among internal sales personnel, sales engineering support, manufacturing engineering, finance, production, Network management, and Distribution Sales Managers to resolve issues or grievances. Addresses errors and complaints.
Other tasks as assigned by manager.
Adhere to employee conduct, rules, regulations, and company guidelines set forth in the employee handbook and guidelines found on the Company Intranet.
Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.

Required
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) Business or Engineering and 5 years experience in large equipment/genset sales management within the power generation industry or 9 years of experience in large equipment/genset sales management within the power generation industry.
Excellent ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Self-starter with the ability to work extended periods without supervision and strong personal drive with 'can do' attitude.
Excellent ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Excellent ability to manage complex problems.
Strong oral/written communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Excellent ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Knowledge in spreadsheet analysis and financial management.
Must be able to travel 40-60% of the time.
Preferred
Excellent ability to write speeches and articles for publications that conform to prescribed style and format.
Excellent ability to present information in written and/or oral form to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
