Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day operational support for Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security appliances.

Assist in the configuration and management of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions.

Support the integration and maintenance of security tools within the existing infrastructure.

Use Splunk to monitor security events, analyze logs, and detect potential threats.

Respond to security incidents, including initial triage, investigation, and escalation as necessary.

Maintain and update incident response documentation and procedures.

Provide technical support to internal users regarding security-related issues and inquiries.

Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enhance security awareness among employees.

Assist users in understanding and complying with security policies and best practices.

Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, standards, and procedures.

Support compliance efforts with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

Conduct routine security assessments and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Required

Solid understanding of Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, and Zscaler technologies

Experience in supporting and maintaining security infrastructure

Experience in monitoring security events and assisting with incident response

Ability to provide day-to-day operational support for Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security appliances

Experience in configuring and managing Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions

Knowledge of integrating and maintaining security tools within existing infrastructure

Proficiency in using Splunk for monitoring security events, analyzing logs, and detecting potential threats

Experience in responding to security incidents, including triage, investigation, and escalation

Capability to maintain and update incident response documentation and procedures

Ability to provide technical support to internal users on security-related issues

Experience in conducting training sessions and creating documentation to enhance security awareness

Knowledge of security policies, standards, and procedures development and enforcement
