Responsibilities

Lead the development of scalable and maintainable software for the Rewarded Ads product offering.

Collaborate with Product Manager, Software Development Managers, and Amazon Advertising teams on setting technical vision, design, implementation, delivery, and operations of various features within Rewarded Ads.

Guide and mentor the development team in best software development practices and Amazon's day one culture.

Identify opportunities for new ad products, experiment, incubate, and scale successful ideas.

Shape the tech roadmap for the product and influence the team's tech direction.

Build mechanisms to maintain low high-severity ticket workload.

Required

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred

5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Experience in Ads technology and product

Experience in building and integrating with high-scale services

Knowledge of software development methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in a developer role

Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills
