Responsibilities
Travel to various PCA locations to support projects across the organization, both in manufacturing plants and paper mills.
Be part of a project team and manage budgets and schedules.
Develop Scope of Work Documents for new installations, greenfield and brownfield, and rebuild projects supporting all aspects of electrical installation.
Lead bid walks and reviews.
Manage contractors.
Specification and installation of power distribution equipment – 480V switchboards/panels.
Troubleshooting and maintenance start-up of AC/DC motors and drives.
Specification and installation of 480V motor control centers.
Work with variable frequency drives: Siemens, Rockwell PowerFlex drives.
General knowledge of PLC’s and controls troubleshooting, including ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix, PLC5 families, and Siemens PLC.
PLC controls design – hardware and software.
Operator interface: Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk View, PanelView.
Good working knowledge of the NEC and NPFA-70E.

Required
Bachelor of Science: Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
10+ years as an Electrical Engineer, Electrical Manufacturing Engineer, or Electrical Field Tech Support
Project Management – Be Part of a Project Team
Excellent Communications Skills
Manage Budgets and Schedules
Specification and Installation of Power Distribution Equipment – 480V Switchboards/Panels
AC/DC Motors and Drives- Troubleshooting, Maintenance Start-up
480V Motor Control Center Specification and Installation

Live anywhere in Continental US within a reasonable commute to a Commercial Airport
Travel 70-80%
Preferred
5+ years in industrial paper and/or corrugating, or design engineering environment
Paper Mill or Box Plant Experience is a plus
Converting Machine Installation Experience is a plus
MSProject Experience is a plus
AutoCAD Experience is a plus
