Responsibilities

Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOP’s, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.

Working with customers to requisition servers and deploy the DoseIQ and DeviceBridge applications

Installing, monitoring and patching Linux servers running applications in Docker and Kubernetes

Provide L3 support for application, server and device hardware to support teams and device deployment teams

Serve as a point of contact and collaborate with all levels of the customer’s organization (IT, Biomedical Engineering, project management, executive, and clinical) on product, system, and device integration initiatives.

Participation in daily team calls and customer calls

Maintain system security and address vulnerabilities

Participate in 24x7 support rotation

Must be willing to travel up to 20%

Required

Master’s degree in biomedical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, software engineering or IT-related field with 3+ years of related experience or Bachelor’s in related field with 4+ years of relevant experience

Experience in Linux system administration

Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, network configuration

Networking experience; IP tables, Linux address routing, subnetting

Kubernetes and Docker experience

Experience with server virtualization

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) experience

Experience in file sharing: NFS, OpenEBS, Block Storage

Experience with configuration, maintaining and tuning high availability systems

Familiarity with security and antivirus best practices

Ability to work independently and with team members from diverse backgrounds

Ability to work in evenings, including the weekends and holidays, as needed.

Strong communication skills for coordinating across teams

A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques

Excellent attention to detail
