Responsibilities
Lead the technology recovery program, including scheduling, development, and improvement metrics.
Ensure adequacy of the production recovery environment.
Develop and maintain the annual Technology Recovery Plans (TRP) and System Recovery Plans.
Detail methods and procedures for restoring systems, applications, and circuits during outages.
Assess and coordinate revisions to the TRP based on proposed technological changes.
Coordinate and manage tests of critical departmental IT platforms and applications, including third-party applications.
Compile and submit the Technology Recovery Plan to the Office of Information Security, complying with relevant state manuals and executive orders.
Define the information security risk management framework and risk assessment process.
Perform information security risk assessments according to defined processes and procedures.
Communicate security objectives and risks to relevant stakeholders.
Suggest and implement improvements to risk management processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain governance, risk, and compliance of mission-critical systems.
Educate process owners on information security risks, management, and remediation options.
Review and deliver key information security metrics to leadership.
Mentor and coach others in information security risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, control standards, secure coding principles, and security technologies.
