Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize custom high-traffic WordPress websites.
Collaborate closely with the UI Designer to translate designs into pixel-perfect, visually appealing front-end elements.
Create or configure reliable plugins within WordPress to enable teams to create, manage, and display custom data.
Enhance website speed and scalability to ensure fast loading times and seamless user interaction.
Develop and customize themes, incorporating HTML, CSS (Tailwind CSS is a plus), and JavaScript.
Implement and maintain Git workflows for smooth version control and team collaboration.
Contribute ideas for design, functionality, and system improvements based on user feedback and best practices.

Required
5+ years of experience in WordPress development.
Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with server-side programming languages, specifically PHP, and interfacing with backend APIs.
Well-versed with data caching and MySQL as it relates to WordPress.
Experienced in collaborating with UI/UX designers.
Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and contribute to an efficient, user-focused platform.
Preferred
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
Knowledge of component-based frameworks (like React, Vue) and Roots/Sage.
