Responsibilities
• Bookkeeping: Accurately record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and expenses.
• Prepare and maintain financial records, such as general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts.
• QuickBooks: Efficiently utilize QuickBooks to manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Masterfully navigate Job Cost, Payroll, AR, AP, and other modules.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports.
• Construction Accounting: Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction accounting principles, including WIP and Over/Under billing.
• Track and manage project costs, revenue, and profitability.
• Prepare accurate job cost reports and analysis.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and tax regulations.

Required
Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounting
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and its various modules
In-depth knowledge of construction accounting principles
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
