Responsibilities

Enter and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CPG standards.

Match invoices to corresponding Purchase Orders and investigate discrepancies to maintain alignment with company standards.

Manage the AP email inbox, handle vendor inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.

Oversee syncing in Bill.com and Expensify, ensuring all systems are accurate and up-to-date.

Set up new vendors, manage credit applications, and maintain positive vendor relationships critical to CPG supply chain needs.

Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.

Manage Gusto notices and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory items.

Post monthly payroll journal entries in NetSuite to support accurate month-end close.

Reconcile bank accounts to ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting.

Enter and reconcile Brex transactions specific to CPG operational costs.

Accrue costs for freight and shipping (FedEx, RLS, etc.), accurately reflecting logistics and distribution expenses in financial statements.

Investigate and resolve issues within Expensify, Bill.com, and Brex, tailored to the fast-paced CPG environment.

Record daily bank activity, ensuring all entries are complete and accurate.

Manage Earth Class Mail and the accounting inbox, responding to internal and external correspondences as needed.

Prepare and distribute 1099 forms to relevant vendors.

Provide support for tax-related tasks, including preparation/organization of documentation to assist with outside CPAs preparation of tax returns.

Required

Bachelor’s degree and/or 3-5 years of related experience.

Solid understanding of AP, payroll, and month-end close processes in a CPG context.

Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus) as well as Gusto, Bill.com, Expensify, and Brex.

Strong grasp of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel as well as high degree of analytical/problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic, high-volume CPG setting.
