Responsibilities

Support the monthly close process

Prepare and record journal entries

Reconcile general ledger accounts

Track and review for accuracy expense/accrual analysis, deferred revenue, unrecorded revenue, and PP&E

Create and distribute monthly client billing

Handle collections on past-due balances

Serve as the primary contact for AR inquiries

Process cash applications

Manage daily client communication inbox

Process accounts payable invoices

Manage accounts payable checklist

Manage expense reporting across the organization

Facilitate new vendor setups

Assist the Finance team in developing and tracking forward-looking projections and forecasts

Support annual external audit requirements

File monthly or quarterly sales tax reports to taxing authorities, in which, nexus has been established

Maintain internal control integrity, documentation, and compliance

Develop new controls to resolve identified weaknesses

Facilitate post-merger integrations of recent acquisitions

Provide system support for NetSuite, Bill.com, and YayPay

Communicate financial information effectively

Build relationships across multiple teams to foster collaboration

Required

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting or related field

5+ years of experience in private or public accounting

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles by US GAAP and taxation

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to manipulate large datasets and ensure data integrity

Ability to apply critical thinking and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong problem-solving skills

Professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset

Preferred

Experience with NetSuite a plus
