Responsibilities

Manages all aspects of A/P to include, but not limited to: Enter in all vendor bills into the company’s accounting information system

Follow up with external vendor inquiries regarding payment status, credits, and other items

Work cross-departmentally within the organization by obtaining vendor payment approvals, PO requests, and responding to internal A/P related inquiries

Enter purchase orders in the system for manager approval

Responsible for general accounting activities of the organization, to include: Prepare and records asset, liability, and expense related entries by compiling and analyzing account information

Reconcile cash accounts daily with the bank

Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, resolving discrepancies, allocating, posting and reconciling transactions

Month-end reconciliation of all cash accounts, fixed assets, prepaids, accrual accounts

Assist in supporting the annual financial statement and bank audits

Perform special projects, create ad hoc reporting, and perform additional duties as requested
