Responsibilities
Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly documented.
Prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, to support decision-making processes.
Assist in the development and monitoring of the organization's budget and financial forecasts.
Support external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in preparing tax filings and returns.
Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Required
Previous experience in an accounting role
Familiarity with GAAP principles
Experience with accounting software
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong work ethic and integrity
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Preferred
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
