Responsibilities

Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes in order to support consolidated financial results
Update account reconciliations using the Blackline software.
Obtain detailed supporting documentation for account analysis on a monthly basis and maintain for annual audit process
Prepare and maintain prepaid accounting reconciliations, record monthly prepaid amortization expense
Prepare assigned monthly journal entries related to the close process, including general ledger adjustments, accruals and other recurring journal entries on accounting system.
Manage the ESOP accounting process in support of ESOP accounting,
Prepare bi-weekly payroll journal entries, including vacation accrual entries
Prepare benefit accrual accounting
Reconcile payroll taxes
Update the monthly prepaid balance sheet reconciliation to reflect new activity
Act as local administrator for Blackline monthly reconciliation software

Required

BS in accounting or similar level of accounting background, technical experience a must.
2-3 years’ experience as an accountant, specifically with minimum of 2 years as a staff accountant
Payroll accounting experience required
Proficiency with Word and Excel
ERP experience a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Cooperative, collaborative work style – teamwork approach
Problem-solving skills and self-motivating

Preferred

MS Access and Blackline as a plus.
