Responsibilities

Develop and implement predictive models for player behavior, game performance, and market trends.

Analyze large datasets to extract insights informing game design and development.

Conduct A/B testing and multivariate experiments to evaluate game features.

Collaborate with game designers, developers, and product managers to provide actionable insights.

Mentor junior data scientists and analysts.

Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for data accuracy and accessibility.

Required

PhD or a Master's degree with equivalent experience in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on predictive modeling and analytics.

Proven experience in the mobile or console gaming industry is highly preferred.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.

Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with large-scale data processing.

Expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data mining techniques.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and A/B testing methodologies.

Preferred

Passionate about gaming (PC, Mobile or Console)

Passionate about understanding player behavior within game

Experience with structured and unstructured data

Experience with Postgres and building structured tables

Experience with Databricks and building structured tables

Experience with GraphQL

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player behavior and gaming trends.
