Responsibilities

Be an owner and expert of our car insurance pricing program

Collaborate extensively with the Data Science team to develop, file and implement new predictive models

Leverage our telematics technology and data to build our next generation car pricing program

Lead research to identify pricing and underwriting opportunities and partner with Insurance Product, Underwriting and Insurance Operations to implement the proposed actions

Assist in the design and development of internal pricing software for advanced analytics to support real-time decision making and scalable growth

Required

7+ years experience building insurance pricing programs using advanced modeling techniques, required

Proficiency in data science programming languages (Python and SQL required)

Advanced experience developing and implementing predictive models using both supervised and unsupervised machine learning approaches such as GLM, decision tree, and gradient boosting machines

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

Ability to work remotely
