Responsibilities

Implement new technologies as needed with automation in mind

Proactive approach to addressing issues before they occur

Track capacity vs allocation for issues and projects

Own development pipelines for many languages and platforms

Build and maintain modern cloud infrastructure for maximum security, reliability, and uptime

Share your knowledge with others, while learning new things from your team mates

Maintain documentation for infrastructure and procedures, and champion a documentation focused environment

Improve on existing services to find efficiencies or better ways of doing things

Act as a brand ambassador for Mogo, regularly using our suite of products, sharing the brand with friends and family, and providing feedback to the team for improvements

Required

5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role

Strong network, web and application troubleshooting skills

Strong communication skills as well as the ability to work independently

Strong experience with the following tools: Kubernetes (Helm, EKS, OKE), Microservices helpers (Traefik, Vault, ChartMuseum, External Secrets), Queuing systems (RabbitMQ, Redis), Infrastructure as Code and Config Management (Terraform, Ansible), Code and Deployment (GitHub Actions, CI/CD, Docker Registries, ArgoCD, Artifactory), Logging and Monitoring (Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana)
