Responsibilities

The Staff Software Engineer plays a key role in our organization, helping determine technical direction and implement critical solutions that will delight customers and accelerate our agile teams with industry-leading reliability and security.

Responsibilities for staff engineers include overall architecture, design, and implementation of robust, well-designed solutions and great software experience, and they extend to technical thought leadership, mentoring, and leading best practice initiatives.

Staff Engineers lead the charge, building critical, scalable, and secure solutions that will meet the needs of Suralink’s growing customer base.

Required

Excellent team and communication skills and experience mentoring others

Deep experience with cloud platforms, concepts, and web technologies (AWS, GCP, etc…)

Deep expertise in designing and implementing highly reliable, scalable software with excellent end-user experience, leveraging best practices, innovative technology, and frameworks.

Experience building Generative AI or other AI/ML products

Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker

Passionate about building robust and secure SaaS platforms and solutions

Mastery of various architectural styles (SOA, Microservices, Monoliths), patterns, and frameworks - when and where to use and how to execute successfully

Expertise up and down the stack and proven ability to drive innovation and excellence across the organization

Self-driven and detail-oriented with a passion for learning and teaching

NodeJS, Typescript, React (or other framework), Golang, PHP

SQL in general, but MySQL, PostgreSQL (or other RDBMS)
