Responsibilities
Completes scientific and engineering analysis under direct supervision.
Assists in developing project document deliverable outlines and layouts, technical writing of reports, data interpretation, permits, and development of graphical presentations in a logical and professional manner.
Conducts field inspections, reconnaissance, and field activities per regulatory standards as directed.
Develops and strengthens technical capabilities within a selected area of technical expertise.
Becomes proficient in field sampling, inspections, data collection, QA/QC of data results, data reporting, synthesis, and analysis.
Becomes knowledgeable of regulatory standards in area of technical background or technical responsibility.
Coordinates with technical staff as necessary
Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects as necessary.
Tracks project hours and utilizes time effectively to complete assigned tasks within assigned timeframe(s).
Communicates with Project Manager when potential issues are foreseen, or potential issues arise that may inhibit performing tasks within the allotted schedule and budget.
Always maintain confidentiality.
Exercise safe work practices by following all Company safety rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs.
Participate in the company’s continuous improvement programs and provide support to team efforts.
Keep up-to-date and current on industry trends by completing formal training, reviewing professional publications, and attending professional workshops.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Knowledge of computer aided software (Microsoft Suite)
Strong communication, problem solving skills, analytical skills, and organization skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment where you handle multiple project assignments and meet strict deadlines.
Ability and willingness to safely perform fieldwork and travel - ability to mobilize to a site with little notice may be occasionally needed. Travel may include overnight trips.
Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
Complete and maintain HAZWOPER certification with the 40-hour HAZWOPER environmental health and safety class, and annual 8-hour refresher classes.
Preferred
Currently have an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or plan to obtain one within one year of starting preferred.
