Staff Geotechnical Engineer

Responsibilities
Works closely with Project Geotechnical Engineers to gain experience with various aspects of design;
Performs tasks related to soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, slope stability, earth structures, earth pressures, instrumentation, construction monitoring, and soil laboratory testing;
Completes design calculations using computer software programs; and,
As required provide support for field investigations. We do not provide compaction monitoring services.

Required
BS in Civil Engineering (MS with geotechnical focus preferred)
0 to 5 years of experience
Current EIT license or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude and the ability to multi-task
Strong work ethic and a desire for continual self-improvement
Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
Effective time management and interpersonal skills
Experience in the use of common computer software
