Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy life sciences software applications as microservices on Kubernetes handled software platform.
Build data acquisition and workflow software involving set up of sample injections, acquisition of data via control of various mass spectrometry instruments, processing raw data, and generating reports.
Develop and integrate GPT/AI based improvements for all applications!
Build backend services using microservices paradigms and support front end Web UI based development.
Ensure visibility of the project at various levels of the organization.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or similar discipline; MS preferred
5+ years of direct industry software experience building applications for data acquisition, scheduling, workflow management or similar
Proven track record of software development in C# and/or Java, SQL Database design of medium to large databases
Experience with distributed/networked systems and instrument control, either from a technical or a usage perspective is a plus
Strong and demonstrable software design, Object-oriented practices, sharp and hands-on coding skills in various languages like C#/Java, C++, Python. Understanding of distributed software, ideally in scientific environments
Very good knowledge of Web-enabled and Cloud-hosted software technology
Solid understanding of Azure DevOps source management, Confluence for knowledge sharing, MS Office tools
Strong analytical acumen. Strong team spirit, excellent verbal and written communications in English
Knowledge of web development languages like Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS and frameworks like Vue, React or similar is greatly helpful
Willingness and ability for international and domestic travel (up to 15%)
