Responsibilities

Establish technology and product ideas in collaboration with product management, site reliability engineers, and software engineers.

Drive detailed design, execution and implementation of initiatives.

Oversee and guide the team to design high performance and scalable features, and support end user APIs.

Drive execution of projects within and cross-organization, identify and communicate technical risks.

Generate the ideas required to solve ambiguous problems, and take full ownership of the solution.

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.

5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Experience with distributed systems with reliability requirements.

Preferred

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.

Experience writing high-quality C++ code and Go code.

Experience with distributed storage systems.
