Responsibilities

Translate voice of customer and stakeholder needs into system and product requirements.

Lead system/product-level feasibility and risks assessments.

Facilitate cross-functional knowledge and experiences to promote the understanding and resolution of in-market and product development issues.

Identify potential hazards and associated control measures.

Identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Provide creativity while solving complex problems without known solutions.

Required

Master’s Degree in Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Life Sciences subject area, required - PhD preferred

Minimum of 8 years' related work experience in Systems Engineering, Requirements Management, System Architectural Development, Functional Modeling, Model Based Systems Engineering AND/OR Flow cytometry or other quantitative single cell analysis domain required will consider combination of work experience and advanced degrees

Experience in the successful delivery of complex technology programs

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Ability to lead multi-discipline engineering teams

Excellent interdepartmental and cross-functional communication skills; strong writing skills

Experience using multi-physics modeling tools

Practical knowledge using programming tools for modeling and data analysis

Experience in optics, lasers, electronics, and optoelectronic devices

Preferred

Hands-on experience with DFSS is a plus
