Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including but not limited to the automotive sector.
Manage and grow existing key accounts by fostering long-term relationships and identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Achieve revenue growth targets by effectively communicating MacLean-Fogg’s manufacturing capabilities and value propositions to potential clients.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (e.g., Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain) to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings nationwide to build networks and maintain a strong market presence.
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to the customer’s specific needs.
Regularly report on sales activity, pipeline status, and market feedback to the General Manager and other key stakeholders.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Proven experience in a strategic sales or business development role within the manufacturing industry
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and capabilities, with the ability to translate technical aspects into customer solutions
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel up to 50% to meet with customers, attend industry events, and participate in conferences
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
Proficient in using sales tracking methods
Strong presentation and proposal development skills
